watching her video of her latest painting, words started lining up in my head...a poem was born:
The Dreamer
Up in the morning
In my silk kimono
I walked by the french window
Looked out at the patio
Fresh breeze
Messed up my hair
My eyes squinting
By the freshness of the air
A dreamy smile nestles
On my face
I am happy and blessed
To be here
To be reminded
That I am alive
How do I love my mornings
Looking at the Thames
